ROTAX E20 GETS FIRST E-KART CIK-FIA APPROVALBRP-Rotax is thrilled to announce that CIK-FIA Approval has been confirmed for the Rotax E20 electric powertrain. This makes the new generation power unit the first ever E-Kart to be awarded this level of certification in karting. Adding to this ground-breaking news, the Rotax E20 championship at the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy becomes the first CIK-FIA Approved International Series for Electrically Powered Karts worldwide in 2024.

Swedish E-Kart Championship joins Porsche Carrera Cup Program at the historical Kanonloppet RaceThe second edition of the Swedish Championship for the Rotax E20 E-Kart will take place at the new Gellerasen Arena karting track at Karlskoga, incorporated into Sweden’s oldest motor racing circuit, on August 15-17. Two Rotax E20 classes will be clsoely contested at the historical ‘Kanonloppet’ (Canon Race), which was first run almost 75 years ago, together with the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia and an extensive motorsport program with an estimated 10,000 spectators attending. There are RMC Grand Finals 2024 tickets, trophies, prizemoney plus a Porsche watch to be won!

CELEBRATING A MILESTONE: 25 YEARS OF THE RMC GRAND FINALS IN SARNO, ITALYBRP-Rotax will celebrate a quarter of a century since the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals began back in 2000 when it returns for the third time to Circuito Internazionale di Napoli in Sarno, Italy from October 19-26. With close to 400 qualified drivers and their many supporters coming together from in excess of 60 nations to contest the most RMC Grand Finals titles yet at the season headline event, the excitement is already building.

Champions are crowned at the RMC Winter TrophyWith rain overnight and the threat of more rain in the forecast throughout the day, RMC Winter Trophy competitors descended on the Orlando Kart Center (OKC) for the final time in 2024. With race wins, championships, and tickets to the RMC Grand Finals on the line, the wheel-to-wheel action commenced with prefinals for all classes with grids set from Friday’s qualifying session before the afternoon made way for the main events on Championship Sunday.

Ramos, Barrichello, Bedard, McLean, Baillargeon, Vera and Arnaudo Win at the RMC Winter TrophyWheel-to-wheel racing kicked off at the RTX Karting RMC Winter Trophy Sunday. Now a three-race series due to issues with timing and scoring on Saturday, qualifying on Friday afternoon set the grid for the prefinals on Sunday. With Prefinal A and B for classes over 36 entries, the top-18 in each prefinal transferred directly to the main event with all other class prefinals setting the grid for the finals.
