BRP-Rotax is glad to announce the first Electric Kart Cup Portugal which is organized by the FPAK (the Portuguese ASN) in cooperation with our long-term partner and authorized Rotax Karting distributor Korridas e Kompanhia and will take place at the Portimao circuit from October 21 to 23, 2022. The announcement represents the start of a new initiative by the national federation to actively promote the progression into a future of electric-powered motorsport, beginning from the grass roots level of ‘karting’. BRP-Rotax is proud to support the Electric Kart Cup Portugal with the first title being awarded to the champions in the Rotax Project E20 Junior and E20 Senior classes.

The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy started its second half of the season last weekend in Belgian Mariembourg. On the 1,388m long Kart des Fagnes track, 163 drivers from all over the world started into the end phase of this year’s RMCET season. In thrilling races, some new faces ended up on the leading positions of the individual grades again. In the end, there were four early title winners next to day winners.

The excitement in the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy is rising. This upcoming weekend, the Austrian engine manufacturer's international championship will herald the second half of the season. More than 160 drivers will gather at Karting Des Fagnes in Mariembourg, Belgium. On the track 160km west of the traditional Circuit of Spa-Francorchamps, the organizers expect exciting racing action as they head into the home straight of the top class racing series.

The Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Festival is back on track! From August 27-28, 2022 the international Micro and Mini MAX drivers meet in Landsard, The Netherlands at this remarkable event specially initiated for our youngest Rotax racers.

Last weekend, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy held the next round. In French Val d’Argenton, the races ranked three and four of the high-class racing series took place. The championship welcomed its participants from all over the world on a new track on the racing calendar for the season at the halfway mark and provided exciting challenges in the best weather.

We have been running the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) since 2001 so this year marks our 21st season! Over that time we estimate that we've introduced more than 12,000 students to 2-stroke kart racing through Club100.

Our first ever Academy day on March 26, 2022 for the new Cadet category along with new Junior drivers went extremely well with 80 Cadets (8 to 12 years) and 104 Juniors (13 to 18 years). They were divided into groups to run half in the morning and half in the afternoon.
Prior to the event we sent all the drivers and parents a video to watch which explained how the day will work, about the kart adjustments, ballast and seat inserts. This I'm sure helped.
