The start of the fifth season of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Tro-phy is imminent: Next weekend, the engines will be revving again on track in Genk, Belgium. More than 225 names make up the list of participants in a total of seven categories, promising some eventful racing action for the beginning of the international series.

In an exciting announcement for the future of Rotax E-Karting in Sweden, Prince Carl Philip’s Racing Trophy will organise the first Swedish E-Kart Champi-onship, including both the Rotax E20 Junior and Senior classes on the program from August 25-28 at the ‘Green Track Resort’ venue GTR Motorpark, in the season that the prominent national event will celebrate a very special 10th anniversary.

Last weekend in Campillos, Spain, it was all about karting! The Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy Winter Cup marks the start of the international racing season of the renowned single-brand racing series. 156 drivers competed at the Circuito Karting Campillos and presented top class racing at the start of the year.

The wait has finally come to an end for Rotax drivers from all over Europe and beyond. With the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy Winter Cup in Campillos, Spain being held this coming weekend, it signals the start of the international racing season for the single-brand series at European level. Almost 200 ambitious participants have submitted their entries for the event taking place not far from the Costa del Sol coastal region on the Mediterranean Sea – with exciting track action expected for the season-opener.

With a total of twelve Rotax Grand Finals tickets at stake, we are pleased to announce the Rotax US Trophy Final event to be held during the weekend of October, 7th to 9th, 2022. The event will be operated by J3 Competition and will take place at the renowned New Castle Motorsports Park capping off the 2022 ticket season of Rotax Racing in the United States.

The RMC International Trophy is one of the biggest international events of the Rotax racing season and we are glad to announce that the date for the 2022 RMC International Trophy is fixed. As in the previous years, BRP-Rotax is partnering with 3MK Events and LeMans Karting International/ACO Automobile Club de l’Ouest, who are organizing the exceptional event in LeMans for the international Rotax drivers.

BRP-Rotax together with EIKO Motorsport, the Rotax authorized distributor for the territories JAPAN, TAIWAN, CHINA, SINGAPORE, INDONESIA, BRUNEI, VIETNAM, CAMBODIA, LAOS, HONGKONG, MACAU, PHILIPPINES and MALAYSIA would like to inform that they have decided to hand-over the distributorship for the territory of Malaysia by December 31st, 2021. The subsequent transfer of the business and the network to the new partner has been agreed and BRP-Rotax is pleased to inform that Amprex Racing Services Sdn Bhd will be the new partner for Malaysia.

The 21st edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals took place at the Bahrain International Karting Circuit in Sakhir in the Kingdom of Bahrain from December 11th to 18th, 2021. After a long wait since the last RMCGF in Sarno, Italy, BRP-Rotax had several premieres, which excited not only the drivers but also all the participants and followers of the Live Stream.

It was an eventful weekend in Genk, Belgium, with more than 200 drivers. From November 05 to 07, the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Golden Trophy was all about winning for competitors from all over Europe at the ‘Home of Champions’. On the demanding track, the special one-off event resulted in a total of six class winners and at the same time, awarded the last tickets for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in Bahrain. All of the races on the 1,360-meter-long circuit were equally as exciting.
Several light rain showers and cool temperatures challenged the drivers and their equipment across the course of the weekend, keeping the contest very interesting and the technicians even busier. With both qualifying and heat races run under lights at Karting Genk, it added to the atmosphere of the event.
